All Elves are renowned for their stealth and their skill with the bow, yet it is the Scouts that have honed these arts to deadly perfection. 
They stalk the old forests, as silent as death itself, relentlessly tracking and slaughtering any who dare enter these sacred lands. Regarded with guarded awe and reverence even by their own kin, Scouts are utterly merciless in the pursuit of their prey, and it is said that there is not a force in the world that can halt one of their hunts once it has commenced.
Most Elf Scouts live apart from their kin, dwelling alone in the darkest reaches of the wildwoods, ever vigilant for intruders. Nevertheless, when the call to war goes out, the Scouts respond as one, forming into loose formations of like-minded warriors. They range out ahead of the Elven warhosts, scouting the lands for danger and launching deadly ambushes upon the foe. Few enemies even glimpse their killers before they are cut down by the Elf Scouts’ accurate bowfire, launched from the shadows.
