Website Manager

The Role

Based in our offices in Nottingham, the role of the Website Manager is to build, develop and maintain all the company’s public facing websites including the store, brand pages, forums and game specific campaign and event pages. Working alongside the studio, sales and marketing teams, the role will support the promotion and selling of Mantic games and products by building a world-class, modern suite of web sites that enhance the company’s Ecommerce capability. The sites and content created will provide customers with the resources they need to better engage with the Mantic community and products and strengthen the whole brand. The role will also involve planning and running several game-supporting online campaigns to further engage and recruit players, and boost sales.

You must have knowledge of building and running commercial websites and have a demonstrable ability to write and edit high quality gaming content. You must be practical, with strong design and commercial understanding. You must have good organisational skills and a professional approach to time management, team work and deadlines. You must be able to work on and deliver multiple projects at once and on schedule.


Including but not limited to:

  • Specifying and commissioning new website development. Delivering them within budget.
  • Delivering strong year on year growth in online sales and customer engagement in campaigns.
  • Owning, maintaining and developing the company’s web store, product, forums and game related pages.
  • Planning and executing online retail promotions and marketing campaigns in conjunction with marketing plans and release schedules.
  • Writing and publishing new gaming and hobby content for all Mantic’s brands.
  • Planning, building and running online gaming/hobby campaigns throughout the year, in support of marketing activities, to recruit new customers, expand the community and to drive sales.
  • Developing the company’s online presence and capabilities. Ensuring the company’s offering is compelling, competitive and unique.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven commercial experience of building and running web sites, including store fronts.
  • Good technical understanding and experience of commercial web site.
  • Strong commercial understanding.
  • Some development experience desirable but not required.
  • An understanding of how to deliver clear, concise and fun rules and gaming material. An appreciation of the customer and how to present information in the right way.
  • Strong design and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines on multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Previous work experience within the gaming industry beneficial but not required.
