Clash of Kings 2023 – Tickets Available Now

Steve Hildrew here, with a special blog post to tell you all about UK Clash of Kings 2023.

Next year, the players are revolting!

That’s right, next year’s event is officially player-run, and we’re doing it bigger and better than ever before.

We’re bringing Clash of Kings to the home of wargaming, Nottingham itself. Right, slap-bang in the middle of the “lead belt”, where humble Mantic Games (and I guess, some other companies) make their home. We’re hiring the Nottingham Trent University student union on 9th and 10th September 2023 to run the event.

Nottingham has massive benefits (apart from being where Ronnie lives) – it’s very travellable from every corner of the United Kingdom, it has great train and bus access, it has several international airports within an hour’s travel, and it has loads of great hotels within walking distance of the venue. Perfect!

We want this to be the BIGGEST and BEST Clash of Kings ever run, so we’ve worked hard to make it massive fun for everyone. There are going to be amazing goody bags for every attendee, you can even upgrade to an exclusive XL goody bag, rammed with Mantic goodies including a choice of Mantic Titans, exclusive event t shirt, Mantic poster and more. There will be a ton of prizes raffled off for all entrants, and this year the top prize is jaw dropping. Your own custom-designed kings of war character drawn by a Mantic artist, printed and framed for you and appearing in a future rulebook. Literally a prize that money can’t buy! 

Plus if you come a little early, Mantic are going to be opening their headquarters on Friday for everyone to visit, with live demos and some amazing surprises from some hobby superstars.  We’ve a bar at the venue open for our exclusive use for the entire weekend, and Saturday night we’ve got the upstairs room at the venue for a chilled evening of games and drinks. 

We’ve got some of the country’s best TO’s on the team, so you can expect the tables to be of the highest quality you’ll find anywhere in the world.
