… and breathe – what a result on the Mars Attacks Kickstarter!

Over 2500 people pledged over $558,000 to bring this system to life, which is simply an incredible number. Thank you to everyone who joined in!

SCALE SHOT: Mars Attacks Robot – unposed and unarmed.

For me it’s been 37 days with a couple hours of sleep each night and being sat in front of the computer every waking hour. I’m looking forward to having next week off (I’m taking the last 6 weekends in one long block!) but the machine doesn’t stop for anyone.

To give you a small look at what it’s like inside Mantic at the moment, here’s what I’m up to at the moment

– Planning and delivering Deadzone content and promotional material

– Getting the website ready for its hard launch and Christmas, including products like the Amera DreadBall Stadium, Roster Pad and the return of the Christmas Crazy Box…

– Updating our Wargame Vault titles and add new ones like Deadzone and DreadBall Season 3!

– Tidying up the Mantic Points and adding new additions.

– Working with our third party sources to deliver the best news and content across the web.

– Coordinating with the studio to deliver the promises we’ve made on the Kickstarter.

Deadzone is very close now… have you picked your faction?

This also involves coordinating James and Curis with the studio – and of course, we’re going into shipping overdrive with LOKA followed by Deadzone so tomorrow. I’m helping Lucia and Alberto dispatch mail orders and helping Sarah and James work through our contact forms and Kickstarter inboxes as quickly as possible before the office shuts down at the start of December to ship out Deadzone.

We’ve got a bit of a backlog at the moment but we’re doing all we can to get back to you as quickly as possible – sorry for the wait.

Sometimes I feel we should have been called Manic not Mantic… still, it’s Christmas soon 😉
