What a great week we’ve had this week on Facebook, Twitter and the blog. Thank you so much for welcoming all of us to the community – Chris, Pat and I have been blown away by the wonderful comments and feedback we’ve been getting.
Coming events in the next few weeks
In the next week, it’s the Mantic Open Day – we really hope to see as many of you there as possible. Doors open at 9:30 if you need to prep for the tournament, and 10am if you’re coming to watch. Please DO grab your tickets for Deadzone and all of our other events so we can plan accordingly and give you a day to remember!
As if that wasn’t enough, Nottingham is also hosting the Dreadball Regional on Sunday – come for the Open day, stay for the regional!
Saturday 24th May the Welsh Regionals are taking place at Firestorm Games. Normal game times apply 🙂
We’ve had another great week of conversation, sharing images and more. I’m going to share some of the best of the conversations and images, from my perspective. I hope you agree! For our international readers, we had a great review of Mars Attacks this week!
First though, we put out a call for authors – we’re planning a Dreadball anthology, and we want you. And you’ll be in with a chance of winning $250!
On the web…
We’ve had a great week again this week. People are still talking about their first mini or Mantic Game, we’ve had a couple of caption the picture posts. I asked, given an unlimited budget, what would you build, then set a scenario, and asked you to build something with our Battlezones Scenery. We started talking Gencon (and if you’re going, head on over to our US Events page!) and launched a new scenery page. We also shared a review of Dreadball, and another of a Deadzone unboxing.
Favourite tweet this week, because 2D6 wrote a great review!

And on the forums, there’s some great painting discussions, some really wonderful blogs with battle reports and conversations about the things going on with the Pathfinders and more. And if you’re new, come on over and introduce yourself!
And now, over to you…
As the new community manager, I’m here to serve you guys, so I thought I’d ask what you’d like to see and help you make the most of your game. We want our fans to be engaged and enjoy their hobby, plus, I love nothing more than talking to other players!
“What do you want to see?” and “Is there anything you’d like to talk about?”
Stick it in the comments below and let’s chat!
Would you like us to share images from fans? How would you like us to do so? Anything else you’d like to see?
