This 2-player boxed set contains 41 superb Mantic miniatures, a gaming mat, tokens, terrain, dice and all the rules you need to play Kings of War: Champions – the compact, rank and flank game of heroic fantasy battles where legends are forged in battle.
Choose your hero (or villain!), along with their accompanying troops, then fight it out in fast-paced, tactical conflicts that can be played in around one hour. Use special commands courtesy of your Hero to turn the tide or crush your foe as you fight to claim scenario objectives.

What is Kings of War Champions?
In games of Champions, players field companies of painted Mantic miniatures to fight exciting skirmishes across the tabletop! Combat and abilities are represented by a unit’s statistics and by rolling six-sided dice to decide your warriors’ fates. A company is made up of units, which can range from our mighty heroes, to monsters or, most commonly, blocks of stoic troops.
Each company box features a heroic or fearsome leader and their retinue of hardened or fear-whipped troops. The force is ready to build, paint and play with all the instructions and rules you need to do so. Over time, more company boxes will arrive – each having their own play style.
Perfect for quick lunch combat, multi-pint gaming sessions, or family fight time, Kings of War: Champions delivers real rank and flank mechanics on a smaller scale battlefield.
The Bloody Cardinal
An insatiable appetite in life forced a once proud Basilean cardinal, Alustus Cassius, down the path of greed. He would hold grand banquets using donations gathered from his flock. Now, reborn as an Abyssal lord his appetite is never sated and he stalks the battlefield searching for his next victim.
Alanis Sallustis
Since being a young girl, the pressure has been on Alanis to walk in the footsteps of her great uncle, the legendary Basilean hero Gnaeus Sallustis. Now she has the opportunity to prove herself on the battlefield. Her rousing hymns and sermons featuring the words of the Shining Ones inspire those around her and encourage them to greater feats of heroism in the name of the Hegemony.
