Mantic Games is looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Kickstarter Projects to join our senior management team and lead all aspects of our crowdfunding campaigns. Based in Nottingham—the heart of the tabletop gaming industry—you’ll be at the forefront of bringing some of the world’s most exciting miniatures and board games to life.

As Head of Kickstarter Projects, you will:

  • Develop and deliver Mantic’s Kickstarter strategy.
  • Lead campaign planning, content creation, and live management.
  • Coordinate with design, marketing, operations, and finance teams.
  • Engage with backers, foster community trust, and grow our audience.
  • Oversee fulfilment, ensuring smooth delivery and clear communication.
  • Report directly to the Managing Director as part of the senior leadership team.

We’re seeking someone with:

  • A proven track record of managing successful Kickstarter or crowdfunding campaigns (tabletop experience desirable).
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an eye for compelling storytelling.
  • A passion for tabletop games and the communities that play them.

Head of UK/ROW Sales

Location: Nottingham, UK (On-site)

Mantic Games, a leading independent publisher of tabletop miniatures and board games, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of UK/ROW Sales to join our senior management team. Based in Nottingham—the home of tabletop gaming—you’ll lead and expand our trade sales across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world.

As Head of Sales, you’ll:

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive sales strategy across UK/ROW markets.
  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
  • Lead and mentor our internal sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Represent Mantic at trade shows, conventions, and international meetings.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and marketing to align business objectives.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in senior-level trade sales (ideally in tabletop gaming, hobby, or related industries).

Postgraduate Management Trainee Programme

Mantic Games, one of the UK’s leading independent tabletop games publishers, is offering an exciting Postgraduate Management Trainee Programme for recent graduates looking to launch their career in the gaming industry.

Based in Nottingham – the home of tabletop gaming – this structured 24 month programme gives graduates hands-on experience across Marketing, Sales, Studio, and Operations. You’ll rotate through key business areas, take on real projects, and work alongside Mantic’s senior management team, gaining the skills and insight to step into a permanent management role at the end of the programme.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting marketing campaigns and community engagement.

  • Assisting with trade sales, distributor relations, and customer service.

  • Learning operations, logistics, and product release planning.

  • Taking ownership of projects that make a real impact on the business.

We’re looking for:

  • A recent university graduate (2:1 or above preferred).

Based in Nottingham – the home of tabletop gaming – this is an opportunity to take ownership of Mantic’s financial strategy and operations, helping to drive growth and support the launch of exciting new games worldwide.

As Head of Finance, you’ll:

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Manage financial reporting and compliance across the UK and international markets.

  • Work closely with sales, operations, and Kickstarter teams to provide commercial insight.

  • Oversee cashflow, cost control, and profitability analysis.

  • Advise the senior management team on long-term financial strategy.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven senior finance experience, ideally within publishing, consumer goods, or creative industries.

  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Professional accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in the creative entertainment sector.
