Firefight – BlackJack Legacy Slow Grow Challenge – Finale

Saturday the 3rd saw the culmination of months of hard graft, as fans of the BlackJack Legacy YouTube Channel came down to HQ to battle it out in a friendly “tournament” to learn Firefight using the armies they had painted for the Slow Grow Challenge.
To celebrate the completion of the challenge we have compiled some of the best images from the day and from the challenge over the last few months but first a few words from Mr BlackJack himself Andy:
“I always enjoy seeing folks diving into a Slow Grow Challenge. There’s always a great mix of experienced gamers wanting to start a new army, folks who maybe made a start but have gotten side tracked and need the motivation to get started again and people who needed some encouragement to start in the first place. This Firefight Slow Grow was no exception!
There have been some amazing armies produced and it’s great to see so many people actually completing it which only encourages them to get some games played.
Rounding it out with the celebration day at Mantic HQ was the icing on the cake and seeing everyone come together to play games with their newly painted armies was a real sense of achievement and brought a close to the challenge in a very fitting way.”

A Great event enjoyed by all and hopefully we will see some similar events in the future, be it slow grow challenges or just none competitive get togethers for people to learn new games!
