Hi all, Ronnie here with the last of our half-year updates on all things Mantic.
With UK Games Expo a little while ago, and GEN CON (Booth #529) starting later this week, it must mean we're going into…BOARD GAME MONTH!
But first, you all know how much we love miniature wargames over here at Mantic, and they've recently had their own half-year reviews:
In other news, the team has of course also been hard at work of a number of other great projects. We have a tonne of cool things coming out that might be of interest – from a co-operative family board game through to an RPG based on a truly iconic comic...

The Ghost In The Shell Tabletop RPG
The Ghost in the Shell Tabletop RPG hits BackerKit on Tuesday 28th July. This game is a passion project for both Alessio and myself. and one of the main reasons we combined River Horse and Mantic in the first place!
It features a stunning RPG book from an award-winning team...and we've created some beautiful minis of iconic characters, simply because we couldn’t stop ourselves!

Worms: The Board Game
From the huge Kickstarter you supported in 2023, to game stores around the world - Worms is coming back, and bigger and better than ever!
Now...to celebrate three decades of Worms videogame mayhem, we've created a special 30th Anniversary Edition, which we'll be revealing on Wednesday 29th July! Among other upgrades, it increases the player count to 6 players and brings a huge selection of legendary worms and weapons from the game to your table. We can't wait to share it with you soon.
With both a reprint of the original 2-4 player retail edition and this very special new 30th Anniversary 'gold box', this summer is a great time to try Worms. Once live on Wednesday, you'll find it on a special Worms Tabletop Collection page HERE.
Mantic newsletter and social media followers should watch out for a special deal to reward the early birds among you (see what we did there?), and be quick - numbers are limited and we expect them to sell out fast...again!
Board Game Advent Calendars
And of course, we will soon be releasing our Xmas special – because obviously that’s what we do in August! This means that our tabletop gaming Advent Calendars will be back again in a few short weeks time for another blast.
As well as the return of Worms and The Walking Dead, this year we also have Hellboy making an appearance, and now TWO calendars dedicated to all the DnD and RPG players out there!
One has a daily reveal of fantastic plastic heroes and monsters, and the other with a daily dose of scenery goodness – the perfect Christmas thank you for your Dungeon Master.
Assassin's Creed Animus: The Board Game
There is great news if you supported Assassin’s Creed Animus on Kickstarter, the amazing Collector’s Edition is just about to go on the sea and will be shipping to backers soon after it arrives!
And if you've been waiting for the more sensible (but really...who does sensible?) retail version, that will be on the way soon after, and hitting shelves in time for Christmas.

Plants vs Zombies: The Board Game
Finally, later this year we're back with something completely different!
In Plants vs Zombies, you'll work together to grow an arsenal of plants and defend your home from Zombie hordes. This is a fast, fun cooperative board game for the whole family.
