Welcome back, Spartans. One of the many great things about Halo: Flashpoint is that you can get a fireteam on the table with just a handful of miniatures. This means:
- it's easy to get started, even if you're new to tabletop wargaming
- you can take your time to really enjoy painting each miniature
- painting/adding just a couple of new minis at a time can totally freshen up your games and tactics
So, let's make it easy to get some minis on the table, and raise your painting game in the process, with some handy painting guides from The Army Painter Academy!

Jiralhanae 'Brutes'
Let's start with something big and chunky. Atriox's packs of Banished Brutes are not only incredibly fun to paint, but also fantastic minis for beginners and experts alike with a satisfying mix of large surfaces and selected fine details.
Your guide for this journey (and the others below) is Tyler Mengel, accomplished studio painter over at The Army Painter. Let's kick things off with the tutorial for the Brutes, covered in a detailed blog at this link right HERE.

To start building and painting your own force of Jiralhanae, you can find their mighty miniatures in all of the below Halo: Flashpoint boxes - just click!

Master Chief, Humanity's Greatest Weapon
The man, the myth, the legend. After all, what's a collection of Halo miniatures without John-117? Find out how to paint him right here:
This is another really fun miniature to paint, with eye-grabbing features like the energy sword, golden visor, and numbered chest-plate.
And, if you've not managed to hunt down the Chief yet, the good news is that he's back in stock later this year - as is the Halo: Flashpoint Paint Set used in this video!

Noble Team
If you know, you know. While Noble Team may go down fighting, what if you could change the outcome? What if they'd gone on to later fight the Banished and more besides? Halo: Flashpoint lets you live out all kinds of fantastic 'what if' scenarios with legendary characters.
To find out, you'll need to get them on the table. And to do that...first you'll want to get them painted up. Check out Tyler's Noble Team tutorial right below...the Winter Contingency has been declared!
If you haven't secured your own set of Carter, Kat, Jun, Emile, Jorge and Noble Six yet then don't leave it too long: there are only very limited copies left from the current run - and it'll be 2027 before they're back! You can pick them up at the link below while stocks last.
