Where to Find Us, What to Play, and What Goodies to Grab

Heading to Gen Con 2026 next week? Come and see us at Booth 529 from 30th July to 2nd August. We’ll have demos, previews, special offers, limited pre-release products, ticketed gaming events and plenty of Mantic mayhem across the weekend.

What Is Gen Con?

Gen Con is one of the biggest tabletop gaming conventions in the world, bringing board games, miniatures games, RPGs, card games and more together for four huge days in Indianapolis.

This year, Gen Con takes place from Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd August 2026.

Where Can I Find Mantic?

You’ll find us at Booth 529.

Kyle, Rick and our friendly booth team will be running demos, showing previews, selling games, chatting hobby, and generally making a lot of noise about all the exciting things happening in the Mantic universe.

What Can I Play at the Booth?

We’ll be running walk-up demos of Halo: Flashpoint and Worms: The Board Game across the weekend.

Halo demos will be using the new, improved Halo: Flashpoint v1.5 ruleset, so it’s a great chance to try the latest version of the game before the new products arrive at retail in September.

What New Stuff Can I See?

Quite a bit! We’ll have early prototype previews of Plants vs Zombies: The Board Game and The Ghost in the Shell Tabletop RPG, giving attendees a closer look at two major upcoming Mantic projects.

If you’ve been following either campaign, or you’re curious to see what we’ve been working on, make sure you stop by the booth.

Can I Buy Anything Early?

Yes, and this is a big one for Halo fans...

We’ll have limited quantities of the new Halo: Flashpoint v1.5 Spartan Edition, plus the new UNSC Marines and Banished Reinforcements available for special pre-release sale.

These products are due for retail release in early September, so Gen Con attendees will have the chance to get their hands on them around a month early.

Stock is limited, and each day’s allocation will be available on a first come, first served basis, so if these are on your list, we recommend coming to the booth early.

Will There Be Halo Special Issue Sets?

Yes. We’ll have very limited quantities of Noble Team and Fireteam Wolf available at the booth.

Noble Team in particular is now out of stock in most places and is not expected to return until next year, so this is a special opportunity to grab a set if you missed out.

Will There Be Any Other Limited Products?

Yes. We’ll also have a small number of copies of the upcoming Worms Special 30th Anniversary Edition board game available for sale.

Are There Any Show Deals?

Of course! One big one to mention is that our show season Halo: Flashpoint starter bundles are back!

Are There Ticketed Gaming Events?

Yes! Away from the main booth, we’ve got plenty happening in the Gen Con gaming area.

Events include Halo: Flashpoint, Assassin’s Creed Animus: The Board Game, Worms: The Board Game, preview games of The Ghost in the Shell TTRPG, and the mighty Kings of War BIG Game.

Gaming area events are ticketed and require prior sign-up through the Gen Con event system. Many events sell out quickly, so don’t hang about.

What Is the Kings of War BIG Game?

It's exactly what it sounds like – an absolutely huge battle, with around 22,000 points per side (roughly ten times the size of a normal game!).

This year’s clash sees Trident Realm and Xirkaali forces facing off against the Forces of the Abyss and Abyssal Dwarfs.

Participation is through Gen Con sign-up, but everyone is welcome to swing by, watch the spectacle, and soak in the sight of a truly massive Kings of War battlefield.

Can I Reserve Products in Advance?

We're not running a product reservation system for Gen Con. For limited items, we’re aiming to split stock across all days of the event, but each day’s allocation will be available on a first come, first served basis.

If there’s something you really want, your best bet is to visit Booth 529 early!

What if I’m Not Going to Gen Con?

Never fear! We’ll be running some very special deals on the Mantic webstore, giving everyone the chance to get in on the excitement of the big event! Keep an eye on Mantic’s channels next week – we’ll be revealing more about those deals soon, and trust us, you won’t want to miss them!
