Mantic Digital – it’s the Future!

If you’ve ever looked at a freshly sliced build plate and felt that little spark of excitement—new units, new characters, new possibilities - then Mantic Vault was made for you.  

The Vault is the digital forge where armies grow, fleet take sail and ideas take shape. 

It allows hobby desks everywhere become gateways to new worlds – and universes! 

And the Vault is continuing to expand, evolve, and deliver more to all of Mantic Games, for all Mantic Gamers everywhere. 

What Is Mantic Vault—and Why It Matters 

For those new to it, Mantic Vault is Mantic Games’ digital STL service, delivering a steady stream of high-quality STL files for miniatures, terrain, and accessories. Members gain access to an ever-growing library of printable content designed to slot directly into Mantic’s game systems—Kings of War, Firefight, Armada, and beyond. 

The Vault has become a cornerstone of Mantic’s offerings. It’s a place where new ideas are tested, factions are expanded, and players are empowered to build their collections their own way—at their own pace, on their own printers. 

And that’s exactly why it keeps growing. To allow it to continue to progress we are going to change the name, simplify the tiers, and, apologies in advance, for some subscribers there will be a small price increase! OK that’s the bad news out of the way, let me explain what’s happening… 

We are going to go to 3 Tiers of Membership: 

Fanatic Membership – this is for players who play at least 2 Mantic games, and who also print STLs.  

• Monthly Release of STL Files via the Vault 
• Access all of Mantic IP Game Systems on the Companion with unlimited list building 
• 15% Digital Store discount 
• 50% Discount on the previous 2 Month Packs  
• 2 x yearly exclusive Resin reward models
• Exclusive Fanatic Member only polls to help guide future Vault content
• £15.00 per month 

The other two tiers are for players users who aren’t yet into 3D printing… 

Club Mantic Membership 

• Access all Mantic’s own IP Game Systems on the Companion with unlimited list building 
• 10% Digital Store discount 
• A choice of one free annual exclusive Resin model
• £7.50 per month 

Companion Membership 

• Single Mantic IP Game System 
• Unlimited lists for that game system
• £4.50  per month

We will dive more into those new membership options in a later post – but for now – they’re coming! 

Since launch, Mantic Vault has expanded significantly and we now have over 34 months of packs! This makes finding a specific model, or group of models - say an Armada fleet (which will be over at least 2 months) or Halfling upgrade packs increasingly harder to find.  

We are moving the content previously delivered by monthly packs into its own dedicated store front – so if you want the new Salamander army (and why wouldn’t you!) for Kings of War, or to dive (see what I did there) into Armada or Deadzone with your friends, then these will all be easily accessed and you will be able to browse the range – from single STL files, through to MEGA all-in-one clicks which can give you immediate access to whole games systems (yes Epic, I am looking at you!). 

Obviously this will take time to build and release, and crucially, this isn’t about cutting content or locking things away—it’s about making the range easy to find, and allowing both new gamers to discover Mantic and dive right and seasoned Vets use STLs to upgrade their armies, and games or start new ones.  

What’s Coming Next… 

Single STL File Purchases 

Today the Digital Store is going live –you can now start buying single units, characters or special bundles to start your journey into our worlds.  We’re starting off with the first 4 Epic Warpath factions and Salamanders for Kings of War.  

Over the next few weeks will be regularly adding more units and files from the extensive back catalogue, offering ever increasing choice and modelling options.  Our intention her eis to complete the switch over by the end of February, so that everything is available for all.

So whether you need only one hero or a specific monster, you can navigate to the site and pick exactly what you need.  

No wait times, no delivery driver using your parcel as a football, no subscription required, and nothing in a bundle you don’t need—just the exact model or army you’re looking for.

Themed Packs 

Alongside individual files, we’re introducing themed packs—curated collections built around factions, armies, terrain sets, or narrative themes. So, if you wanted to start Armada and wanted to just get the Orc fleet in one click, that’s what you’ll be able to do! Theme packs live on our "Packs" page and can be found just below this and previous months packs on the Vault Packs Page. So now if it is a new Champions faction through to someone looking to print a complete Epic Warpath army Themed Packs gets you there. 

Print on Demand via the Mantic Webstore 

Not everyone owns a 3D printer—and that shouldn’t be a barrier to great miniatures. That’s where Mantic’s Print on Demand comes in. 

Soon, selected Vault designs will be available as printed models through the main Mantic Games webstore. This bridges the gap between digital and physical, letting players enjoy Vault content without needing hardware, slicers, or resin. 

We’re kicking that off this week with the Salamanders Champion set complete with a free set of print at home rules (you will need a 2D printer for that...), then in February all the single units to complete the Salamander army.
