When Halo: Flashpoint launched, the response was huge...

First came the surge of excitement — finally, the chance to command Spartan fireteams in fast-paced, tactical skirmishes, boots on the ground and orders in hand. For fans of the UNSC, it was a dream deployment.

After that came another question: where would this journey into the Halo Universe go next? Once your Spartans had completed their War Games training — the rigorous training of the Spartan-IV program that formed the backdrop of the starter sets — what new threats would rise? Let’s just say we didn’t exactly hide our intentions. The Spartan Edition starter set included a bonus playable lance of Banished Elites, fully operational and battle-ready. Not exactly a stealth op. A hint, perhaps...or a warning.
