Hello all! If you didn't notice, this year was a big year for us expanding the Warpath Universe. Epic Warpath turned from a Kickstarter to a full release, hitting tables around the world. It was also our first game system to go from Plastic to STL in one big release - so a huge cornerstone for us at Mantic!
Epic Warpath isn’t slowing down — in fact, it’s only just hitting its stride. After a breakout launch that proved there’s a huge appetite for epic-scale sci-fi warfare, we're doubling down in a big way next year, with two major milestones set to expand the game.
First up, the final four armies are marching onto the retail battlefield. These releases will complete the core Epic Warpath faction lineup, giving players the full 8 armies.
Hot on their heels come the much-anticipated STL campaigns. First up will be the four armies currently waiting for their digital release, with a print on demand option for our webstore at the same time!
And then comes the summer blockbuster: a brand new expansion designed for every army in the game. Rather than focusing on a single faction, this release will bring something to everyone — introducing new rules, units, and models that refresh the battlefield for veterans while remaining accessible to new commanders.
Epic Warpath isn’t just continuing its success — it’s establishing itself as a cornerstone of large-scale sci-fi wargaming. The future is epic, and the warpath leads straight through next year.
If you already love the close-quarters intensity of Deadzone and the cinematic skirmishes of Firefight, the future of the Warpath Universe is shaping up to be something truly special. Over the coming months, we are expanding our sci-fi offering in a bold new way — by bringing even more core sci-fi miniatures to life through the Mantic Digital STL service.
These new releases are designed to do more than just grow collections. They’re about lowering the barrier for entry, letting hobbyists print, customise, and experiment with new forces, while welcoming fresh commanders into the wider Warpath Universe. Whether you’re reinforcing an existing Firefight force or laying the foundations for something much bigger, these STLs are a gateway to larger conflicts ahead.
And that’s where things get really exciting. All of this momentum is building toward a global narrative campaign at the end of summer — a galaxy-spanning event where player actions help shape the future of the setting. As the story unfolds, a shadowy new threat will emerge from the watery ruins of the last campaign… and when it finally breaks cover, it will do so in full hard plastic.
From skirmishing in Deadzones to massive global battles in Epic Warpath, the Warpath Universe is evolving — and Firefight and Deadzone players are right at the heart of what comes next.
