The Asterians are a unique force on the battlefield in many respects, combining many disciplines of war under a single ancient banner. Their strength ranges across massed ranks of remote-operated drones and weapon platforms to the brutal warrior spirit of the Kalyshi, and the principled might of the Matsudan. Fresh reinforcements see all of these aspects enhanced within the Asterian army. The Kalyshi are reinforced by the Rai-Mega, a gigantic creature tamed and directed into battle by the fiercest of their scouts. The Matsudan see their efforts aided by the terrifying mechanical Daidarabotchi, a walking combat automaton optimised for efficient slaughter. And finally, with the core Asterian military’s signature elegance, floating weapon platforms and Wight Interceptors drift toward battle, ready to restore balance to a fractured universe.
