When a dwarf lord goes to war, he does so surrounded by his personal guard and military advisors. Most of his retinue are Ironguard – handpicked warriors and sworn protectors of the dwarf lords. Chosen from the toughest and most experienced fighters, they form defensive shield walls upon which even the strongest enemies expend their strength harmlessly.
