New Kings of War Champions Pre-Orders Available Now – Led by Xorxoi Prowlmaster
A new batch of Kings of War Champions releases is available to pre-order now, with shipping due at the end of March.
This wave adds three new Company boxes and sees the much-anticipated release of the Champions as single miniatures – now that Kings of War 4th Edition is in stores everywhere, we’re ready to unleash these renowned characters on new, larger battlefields!
With the Kings of War Slow Grow Challenge also underway – and the core Champions rules currently free for a limited time – it’s a great time to dive in.
Xorxoi Prowlmaster – Champion of the Xirkaali
Xorxoi Prowlmaster has been one of the most talked-about Champions since his image was first teased last year, and it’s not hard to see why.
In the lore, Xorxoi is a seasoned plains-stalker of the Xirkaali Empire: a tracker, scout, and pathfinder trusted to range far beyond the Empire’s borders. His travels have taken him through the undead lands of the Tetsumo Shogunate, into the infernal wastes of Blight, and down into the Gnorr warrens of Festerfur. Now his skills are turned westward, scouting eastern Mantica as the Xirkaali proceed with their invasion.
Xorxoi favours speed and precision over heavy armour. He fights with a powerful longbow and a selection of specialised arrows designed to harass and disrupt the enemy, switching to paired dao blades when the fighting turns close. He’s also rarely seen without Chakha, his loyal tiangou dragon-dog companion.
The release of Xorxoi’s Company will mark the Champions debut of the Xirkaali – Kings of War’s newest faction, who are currently launching a massive invasion of western Pannithor. The Xorxoi miniature itself is a real highlight: dynamic, characterful, and packed with detail.
Xorxoi is available to preorder now as part of the Xorxoi Prowlmaster Company Box, and as an individual miniature – perfect if you want to add him to your Xirkaali army for Kings of War, or if you just want to paint him!
New Champions Company Boxes – Ready to Play
Xorxoi is joined by two more Champions Company Boxes, each offering a complete force straight out of the box.
If holy vigour and knights in shining armour are your thing, you'll be right at home with the Alanis Sullustis Company Box.
And if you're more a "greed is good" kind of person, The Bloody Cardinal Company Box may be right up your street.
These two sworn enemies have previously only been available as part of the Faith and Fury 2-player Starter Set – this marks the first time they’re available for purchase separately.
Champions as Single Miniatures for Kings of War (or for Painters!)
Alongside the new Company Boxes, Xorxoi and all previously released Champions are now available to pre-order as individual miniatures.
That includes fan-favourite characters such as Axel Tricklebrook, Taran Bligh, and Grunk Blackclaw, among others.
All Champions are usable in Kings of War 4th Edition, with rules allowing them to be taken as units in their respective armies. Now, with the release of the single miniatures, you’ll be able to easily add these powerful and distinctive characters to your Kings of War armies.
For 3D-printing enthusiasts, the individual Champions will also be available to purchase as STLs from the digital store in the future.
And remember, the Champions aren’t just lovely-looking miniatures, nor do they exist solely as units to command in Kings of War and Kings of War Champions – they’re living, breathing characters whose stories are central to the grander narrative currently unfolding in the world of Pannithor.
