ODST Dropping Soon!

Welcome back! After yesterday's huge update to the game, get ready for today's focus on the new ODST!

ODST LISTS

One of the big differences between Spartan heavy lists and ODST is the number of models you will fit in your list - an ODST list can comfortably field 5-7 models with upgrades compared to 4 Spartans in our standard 200 point game.  Of course that depends on what you choose to take, but it's a change of play compared to the previous standard of 3-4 models per list. Here's a few examples of what your ODST lists could look like, fresh from the Rules Committee:

Feet First into Hell also contains two Legendary characters, Buck and Dare.

Buck is a great addition to the ODST, effectively acting as a Deadeye with Tactician and Scout, which offsets his lower speed stat compared to a Spartan.  He already comes with two weapons, so even if you don't buy him another weapon, he will be shooting twice most of the time!

Dare, an ONI operative brings with her Tactician 2, and a Special Order that allows her to manipulate Command Dice to change them into two results of your choice - incredibly useful when synergised with other Special Orders. As ONI she isn't fully ODST either, so the rule that prevents ODST Captains from being taken with Tactician Spartans does not apply to her, allowing some very interesting mixed UNSC teams.
