USD The Halo App Updated!

Welcome! Today I am very pleased to say that the first planned upgrade of the Halo Web App (Dubbed forever internally as the Halo Flashpoint Index) has hit the live server. We have been improving the mobile user experience for both list building and the rules layouts, so that when viewed by mobile phone, these should all work better than before!
A huge part of this undertaking was helped by the community who are already using our online app - to them we owe a great deal of credit and thanks - it's helped us create something that really shines now and will just keep improving over time.
One of the big updates for today is the implementation of the Insignia system - subscribers can earn special badges just for attending events - throughout a whole year you can earn these ranks from a Novice Recruit all the way up to a General (assuming you've made a podium somewhere throughout the year!)
Currently, those ranks are:
- Recruit
- Cadet
- Private
- Lance Corporal
- Sergeant
- Staff Sergeant
- Gunnery Sergeant
- Master Sergeant
- Lieutenant
- Captain
- Major
- Lieutenant Colonel (Or Brigadier General if you have a podium finish)
- Colonel (Or General if you have a podium finish)
This is just the start of the badge system though, as later on we will be implementing Battlegrounds - our Retail Partners - and attending those will grant badges, along with Best in Faction, Top 10, and the most coveted badge of all - Hero. We will come back to those later, but for now - everyone should be able to see their rank in the Service Record and in the Global Rankings table.
