This narrative adventure sees you battling Covenant forces, completing objectives, upgrading your arsenal and reliving some of the most memorable missions from Halo's original adventure in board game form. One player takes on the role of the Master Chief against the Covenant, controlled either by the game's ruleset itself or directly by a second player.

Before we drop feet-first into the campaign itself, let's take a look at exactly what comes packed inside the box. From Master Chief and his Covenant foes to the mission books, map tiles and equipment cards you'll need to complete your objectives, there's plenty here to keep a gun-toting Spartan busy...

From the moment you emerge onto Installation 04, you'll be exploring ancient Forerunner halls, scavenging weapons and fighting off Covenant patrols in scenarios inspired by some of gaming's most memorable levels...
Relive Legendary Halo Missions
That's a jam-packed box, and at the heart of it all is a narrative campaign inspired by Master Chief's most legendary missions, including:
- Pillar of Autumn
- Halo
- Truth and Reconciliation
- The Silent Cartographer
- Assault on the Control Room
Many of these are multi-part scenarios, taking you from UNSC ships and Covenant vessels to ancient Forerunner structures buried beneath the surface of Installation 04.
Everything you need to play is included in the box, from modular map tiles, rules and mission books, to equipment cards, tokens, Covenant enemy standees and plastic miniatures of both the Master Chief and a Sangheili Zealot. It's a complete standalone experience that's quick to learn, while still offering plenty of tactical choices as enemy reinforcements arrive and mission objectives evolve.
As you progress through the campaign you'll discover familiar weapons and equipment from the video game, including favourites like the Needler, Plasma Pistol, Sniper Rifle and M41 SPNKr Rocket Launcher. On top of this, Overshields, Active Camouflage and grenades all help even the odds when the Covenant starts to gain the upper hand...
Speaking of the Covenant, you'll be facing plenty of classic enemies too. Grunts, Jackals and Sangheili warriors each bring their own challenges to the tabletop, meaning you'll need more than just blind luck (or attempting to run by them!) to complete the campaign.
Once you have, there are even rules to go back and run it on Legendary difficulty for all the true Halo aficionados (and gluttons for punishment) among you.
But that's not all. Halo: Campaign Evolved doesn't just recreate Master Chief's original adventure on the tabletop; it also includes additional content for Halo: Flashpoint players...including a few familiar faces making the jump between games.
Cross-Game Content with Halo: Flashpoint
Naturally, the Master Chief and Sangheili Zealot miniatures included in Campaign Evolved come with Flashpoint unit cards, letting them jump straight into your skirmish games!
Halo: Flashpoint players can also use plastic miniatures from their collection to swap out for the 2D standees - meaning an instant upgrade in both table presence and immersion when taking on Campaign Evolved's scenarios.
And even better, the new Judgement expansion includes bonus board game missions featuring some of the game's most feared opponents, the Hunters, to add even more gameplay content to your experience.
