Kings of War June Pre-Orders: Basilea Rides To War
15th May 2026

Faith, Fire and Fracture
Basilea stands at a crossroads.
As Fracture unfolds, the Hegemony’s faith is being tested like never before. The Green Lady moves in the shadows, old certainties are starting to crack, and the Shining Ones no longer speak with a single voice. Even worse, the Abyss is beginning to stir, with Basilea poised to bear the brunt of its fury. Now more than ever, the forces of the Hegemony must draw on every ounce of faith, steel and discipline they can muster. A conflict is igniting that could reshape Basilea’s future.

Against the backdrop of that unfolding narrative, we’re delighted to reveal a new wave of Basilean miniatures and boxed sets that are launching alongside Fracture. These releases are available to pre-order now, and will be shipping at the end of June, with the exception of Gnaeus Sallustis, the High Paladin and the Ur-Elohi, who ship at the end of July.
Next week, we’ll be revealing and opening pre-orders for the new Forces of Nature miniatures, and the Fracture book itself. Exciting times!
For today, let’s take a look at those new Basileans.
High Paladin on Dragon
At the heart of the release is a stunning new centrepiece miniature: the mighty High Paladin on Dragon.
Few sights in all Pannithor are as awe-inspiring as a High Paladin descending from the heavens atop a mighty dragon. Whether leading a crusade into the jaws of the Abyss or bringing righteous ruin to the enemies of the Shining Ones, this magnificent new miniature embodies all the sacred fury of Basilea at war.
With its sweeping wings, ornate armour and imposing battlefield presence, the High Paladin on Dragon is destined to become a true centrepiece for Basilean armies, both on the tabletop and in the display cabinet.
Basilea Needs Heroes
The High Paladin on Dragon is not the only warrior stepping forward during the events of Fracture.
Joining the release are new Basilean hero miniatures that reflect the changing state of the kingdom and the escalating conflict engulfing Pannithor.
Gnaeus Sallustis, Grand Master of the Paladin Order
One of the most iconic commanders in Kings of War is returning to the spotlight.
Beloved by the Paladins and common soldiers alike, Gnaeus Sallustis has long stood among the defining heroes of Basilea. Born of rare Elohi parentage, his immense power and extended lifespan have helped shape the fate of the Hegemony through some of its darkest hours.
But these are divisive times within Basilea. As faith, politics and war increasingly collide during the events of Fracture, Gnaeus finds himself uniquely positioned between the military, the Hegemon and the competing visions of the nation’s future.
This brand-new miniature captures the authority and battlefield presence of one of Basilea’s greatest champions.
High Paladin
The new High Paladin miniature embodies the zealous martial pride of the Hegemony.
Veterans of countless crusades, High Paladins stand among the greatest champions of Basilea, leading from the front wherever the fighting is fiercest. Combining ornate armour, unwavering faith and commanding battlefield presence, this miniature is ideal for leading your Paladin Orders into battle.
Ur-Elohi
Radiant and divine, the Ur-Elohi descend to war as living manifestations of the Shining Ones’ will.
Rare upon the battlefields of Pannithor, their presence inspires hope among the faithful while striking terror into the enemies of Basilea. Combining celestial majesty with an imposing tabletop presence, the Ur-Elohi makes a striking addition to any Basilean collection.
Reinforce the Hegemony
Alongside the new character releases, we're also launching several new 4th edition boxed sets that are perfect for starting or expanding a Basilean force.
Basilean Battalion
Advance on the enemy with a wall of faith, discipline and steel!
The Basilea Battalion forms a mighty foundation for any army of the Hegemony, combining steadfast Men-at-Arms, thundering Paladin Knights and the divine wrath of an Ur-Elohi.
Ideal for beginning a new force or reinforcing an existing collection ahead of the Siege of Samarik campaign, this set delivers a balanced core of infantry, cavalry and divine might – all wrapped up in Basilea’s trademark blend of zeal and martial discipline.
Basilean Pious Battle Group
For the armies of Basilea, war is an act of both duty and devotion.
The Pious Battlegroup combines disciplined Men-at-Arms with the thunderous charge of Paladin Knights, creating a formidable force that showcases the military power of the Hegemony.
Whether you’re starting a new collection, expanding an army or simply adding more steel to your next crusade, this battlegroup is packed with Basilea’s trademark faith, martial strength and beautifully detailed hard plastic miniatures.
Basilean Hero Pack
The Hegemony is guided by faith, steel and fire.
This new Hero Pack includes an Abbess, Dictator, War Priest and High Paladin, offering a versatile collection of battlefield leaders for your Basilean army. From martial leadership and religious zeal to arcane might and tactical support, these commanders reflect the many different powers shaping Basilea during this turbulent new age of holy war and growing division.
Answer the Call of the Shining Ones
Basilea has always been one of the defining armies of Kings of War: serried ranks of armoured troops, thunderous Paladin charges, divine warriors descending from above, and now a High Paladin riding into battle atop a mighty dragon.
With Fracture on the horizon and the Siege of Samarik coming this summer, the Hegemony is moving right into the heart of the story. Whether you’re adding a centrepiece to an existing force or raising a new army beneath the banners of the Shining Ones, there’s plenty here to get excited about.
We’ll have more content in the coming weeks as we continue building toward the release of Fracture at the end of June.
Next week, the spotlight turns to the Forces of Nature, with their new miniatures being revealed alongside the Fracture expansion book itself. Pre-orders for both will go live then, so stay tuned.
